Today March 19, 2013, as scheduled, Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche took a one day break from the Kagyu Ngagdzo empowerments and we celebrated the first anniversary of the Parinirvana of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche. The day started with the White Tara ritual known as the "Ngodrub Kuntsol" or "Bestowing all Accomplishments" composed by the Sixth Shamar Chokyi Wangchuk, a White Tara ritual that is widely used in our Karma Kagyu tradition.
News
Today on the 18th March Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's statue was filled with the precious organ relic and mantras. At 10:30 am Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche consecrated it and in the afternoon the statue was brought down into the main shrine hall on Tenga Rinpoche's own throne.
Not to forget over all the Kagyu Ngagdzo, on Monday the 25th of February 2013 our fourth group of 3-year-retreatants concluded their retreat in our retreat centre in Pharping. This day was the full moon or 15th day of the first Tibetan month, a very auspicious day that marks the display of miracles by the teacher of our age, the Buddha Shakyamuni, and thus a very auspicious occasion for the conclusion of such a retreat. H.E. Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche personally oversaw the ceremonies and gave much precious advice to the new young lamas.
As scheduled, the transmission of the Precious Kagyu Ngagdzo Chenmo, compiled by Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye and given by Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche, began at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday the 3rd of March.
Please have a look at the schedule (English/Tibetan) for the Kagyü Ngagdzö.
And please take note of the following: Some have already noticed that, except for a single instance, no oral transmissions or "lungs" are mentioned on the schedule. Rinpoche wishes to do it like this. While a number of lamas walk through the rows of participants with bumpas, tormas and other empowerment implements to give the various blessings, Rinpoche wishes there to be quiet in the shrinehall and he will use that time to give the oral transmissions or "lungs" as well as instructions. So please, all of you participants who read this, inform others so that we will actually have a semblance of quiet during these times. Thank you for your cooperation.

An Overview of the maturing and liberating Lineages of Transmission and Support of the Kagyü Ngagdzö
by Drubwang Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche
The principal traditions and currents of explanation through which the dharma of scripture flourished in the snowy realm of Tibet are based upon the efforts of the masters of old, known as the Ten Pillars (Thönmi Sambhota, Vairocana, Kawa Paltsek, Chokro Lui Gyaltsen, Shang Yeshe De, Rinchen Sangpo, Dromtön Gyalwa Jungne, Ngok Lotsawa Loden Sherab, Sakya Pandita and Gokhukpa Lhatse). The dharma of spiritual accomplishment was spread in principal by the long lineages of upholders of the transmissions of realized ones which are renowned everywhere as the masters of the Eight Great Chariots of the Practice Lineages. The teachings of one of these chariots are included in the collection known as the Kagyü Ngagdzö.
On the 19th March (the 8th day of the 2nd month of the Tibetan calendar) is going to be our great master Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's parinirvana anniversary which we will host in the Benchen monastery.
Drubwang Sanggye Nyenpa Rinpoche decided to perform the White Tara Sadhana during that day. Therefore, there won't be any initiation of the Kagyü Ngag Dzö on that day. On that day it would be very nice if we could all pray together and feel Tenga Rinpoche's presence with us and receive his blessings and make wishes to meet Rinpoche again soon.
Namaste, Tempa
During the 30th Kagyu Monlam 2012 in Bodhgaya, at the 28th December on new moon during the Offering to the Gurus His Holiness Karmapa Orgyen Thrinley Dorje arranged a wonderful shrine beautifully decorated with candles in honor of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche with his picture.
On 16th December our Benchen Monastery had a visitor, a high master from Taiwan and close disciple and good friend of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche, Ti Chey Pha Sey. He paid respect and meditated in Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's relic shrine room. We were all very happy and grateful for his visit.
