On July 12, 2013 the auspicious day commemorating the first turning of the wheel, I arrived at the Pathang airport in Yushu with Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's relic bones, relic pills and a very nice relic stupa 3 feet tall which was nicely crafted under the supervision of Chagzö Tashi Özer.
Precious Relics
On the 16th of September 2012 we had the great honour of welcoming Tempa Yarphel at our center in Heidelberg. He very kindly brought precious relics of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche, thus fulfilling the heartfelt request by Lama Dorothea.
Exactly 30 years ago, in September of 1982, Rinpoche had founded our center by giving it the name Karma Chang Chub Cho Phel Ling. It was a great joy for us to receive his relics just one day after our public anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 15.
On the 9th of September Tenpa Yarphel, who is Changdzö and personal general secretary to Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche and has been Rinpoche's close attendant through 44 years, arrived at Benchen Karma Geleg Dargye Ling, Tenga Rinpoche's center in Odense, Denmark, to offer the precious relics of our Guru and Lord of Refuge.
During our meanwhile traditional summer course in Benchen Phuntsok Ling, Allmuthen in Belgium, in the afternoon of Saturday, the 4th of August 2012, the most precious relics of our beloved and most revered teacher Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche were officiallly presented to his main seat in Europe.
As a representative of Benchen Phuntsog Dargye Ling in Kathmandu Tenpa Yarphel, accompanied by Sherab Wangchuk and the resident lamas of Benchen Phuntsok Ling, Lama Yönten Palsang and Lama Ngawang, brought the ringsel in a traditional procession and khora around the main building into the lhakhang.
Today 31st August 31, 2012 at 2:30 pm, the precious relics of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche were officially offered to Benchen Karma Kamtsang centre in Grabnik, and other nine branch centers in Poland. The relics were transferred from Rinpoche's room to the shrine hall where the annual dharma courses take place.
On the 22nd of July Tempa Yarphel, Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche's main attendend, brought the precious Relics of our Lord of Refuge Tenga Rinpoche to the Dharma Haus Benchen Tashi Ling in the middle of Cologne. Many of Rinpoche's disciples came from the Cologne area and also from further away like the Netherlands, Hamburg, Heidelberg and even Hawaii to honor the preciousness of the display of Rinpoche's enlightened activity in the form of the Ringsel Kyabje Rinpoche manifested after his Parinirvarna.
On August 24, vice chairperson of Benchen monastery Jimba Lodro brought the relics of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche to the center of Benchen monastery in Poland. The relics were received by H.E. Sangtrul Rinpoche, resident Lamas, Lama Rinchen and Lama Migyur Sonam and other devotees.
