HE Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche will perform the Empowerment, the oral transmission and exoteric instructions of the Rinchen Terzod (Precious Treasury of Terma) at Benchen Phuntsok Dargyeling monastery, Kathmandu. The Empowerment starts on 18 Septermber 2020 and takes about 4 months.

On 31 October 2018 a formal graduation ceremony taking place at Benchen Shedra in Pharping

The first group of studends finished their twelve years studies of Buddhist philosophy at Benchen Nangten Thoesam Ling Shedra. HE Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche will graduate the students in a public ceremony on October 31st 2018. The ceremony takes place in the Main Hall of the Shedra in Pharping, Nepal.

Currently, the monks of Benchen monastery, Kathmandu are performing the Gepa Dorje Gur Rigdu ritual. This ritual (puja) takes place in the monastery every year following the advice of H.H. Gyalwa Karmapa Orgen Trinley Dorje. This year, the puja started on 15 July, 2018. The first 3 days were used for preparations. The Sand Mandala was completed, after which the main puja began. Today is completed of the 5-day main puja.
This puja is very special and profound, and is considered to belong to one of the 13 Tantras of the Marpa tradition. Wishing all great masters longevity and all sentient beings liberation from samsara.

For the sole purpose of enhancing the individual well-being of His Eminence Kenting Tai Situ Rinpoche, the monks of Benchen Monastery in Nepal are performing the "100,000 Ganachakra Feast Offerings to the Protector Mahakala".

His Eminence Sangyes Nyenpa Rinpoche appointed Yonten Tharchin as a 'Benchen Khenpo' with sole responsibility of running the library and publication. Rinpoche also appointed Sherab Tenzin as the Principal of Benchen Primary School. Watch the video to get the glimpses of those honorable moments.
