Tenga Rinpoche: Prayer for Swift Return

by 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje

Namo Guru

Mighty Vajradhara, wisdom of all conquerors in a single form,
Splendid guru, your kindness towards me has been beyond compare.
This way in which you left for dharmadhatu, even though for a just while,
Aches and hurts unbearably as if a thorn has pierced my heart.

A brief Guru Yoga

A very simple and brief guru yoga for Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche for daily use, for those with heartfelt devotion:  Guruyoga

Through such a guru yoga alone, may those with heartfelt devotion recognize mind-nature and attain accomplishment! Requested by no one, directed at no one, this was arranged simply out of a personal need, in memory of the many instructions and the kindness of the lama, by Sherab Drime.

Tenga Rinpoche: Prayer for quick return.

Namo Guru.

Glorious lama who has shown me such unequalled kindness, mighty Vajradhara, embodying the awareness of all buddhas; now that you have merged for a while with the dharmadhātu, my humble heart is pained from longing in your absence.

A Brief Supplication for the Swift Rebirth of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche

This supplication was composed by H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche in the early hours of 30th March 2012, in the presence of the precious remains of Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche. Immediatedly translated by Sherab Drime (Thomas Roth).
