"DHARMA jewels", a Tibetan Buddhist youtube-channel, was established in January 2014, following a hint of H.E. the 10th Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche.
Presented in English only (as English is "lingua franca" meanwhile, a common language worldwide), it's aim is to share the precious video-teachings of eminent Kagyü-teachers, recorded since the 1980s, with those interested in listening to, in reflecting and meditating these teachings.
Highlights are the videos showing H.H. the 17th KARMAPA during His First European Visit in Germany 2014 and a series on "Nature of Mind" of the late Kalu Rinpoche 1982. H.E. Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche's English lectures on Atisha's "Garland of Gems" form a heap of special jewels with strong links to applications in modern life.
It is a central function of this channel to serve as a digital memorial for the late third Tenga Rinpoche (1932 – 2012), whose biography you can find here.
Tenga Rinpoche's radiant personality, his friendliness and his profound wisdom permeate throughout all of his teachings. A heart-warming experience, not only for his disciples.
Starting with Tenga Rinpoche's teachings during the legendary first three Summercamps of Chime Rinpoche in Schwangau/Füssen (Germany) 1984 - 1986 and ending with the last five Summer Courses (2007 – 2011) in Tenga Rinpoche's European Seat Benchen Phuntsok Ling in Belgium the channel will provide access to three decades of his teaching activity in Germany.
