For more than 25 years Tenga Rinpoche has been teaching the Dharma extensively in the West. A lot of his teachings were recorded on audio cassettes.
Tenga Rinpoche himself expressed the wish to make these teachings available, also for the future. As a result and to preserve these precious teachings Benchen Phuntsok Ling archives came into being.
The major tasks of the archives are:
- to get an overview of the recordings available
- to collect the teaching material on audio tapes centrally at one place
- to digitalize the data
- to store (save) the data on appropriate media (cdrom, dat, etc.)
- to start to catalogize and systemize the material to make future publication possible.
Therefore we request all Dharma centers and/or individuals who are in possession of recordings of Tenga Rinpoche’s teachings to support the Benchen Phuntsok Ling archives.
We are looking for full sets of teachings. (For example complete set of teachings on mandala offering). The cassettes should be labelled – subject, place, date and should have both, the Tibetan and the respective translation recorded.
If you don’t want to contribute the original tapes we would be grateful if you could send copies or lend us the originals so we ourselves could draw copies.
